My minimum is $200 with my hourly rate starting at $300/hour. However, most pieces, unless they are very large and require a lot of time, are charged by piece rather than the hourly rate. To get an accurate quote for your desired tattoo be sure to fill out my appointment request form to the best of your ability and I will usually respond within the same day. If you do not get a response within 24 hours be sure to check your spam folder.

Drink water and make sure you eat before you come! Being hydrated and well fed will help you feel more grounded and make the experience a lot easier on your body. It’s preferable that you don’t shave the area that’s being tattooed before you come. The reason being that it can cause razor burn or irritate the area if not done properly. Leave the shaving up to me!

I do first tattoos all the time! Being hydrated and well fed before your appointment is highly recommended. Once you arrive, let me know it’s your first time and I will talk you through the entire process. I’ll be sure to proceed at a pace that is comfortable for you. My priority is to make sure you are well informed and comfortable during the entire process!

Yes! A nonrefundable deposit of either $50 or $100 is required to hold your appointment time depending on the quoted price of your tattoo. The deposit goes towards the final price of your tattoo and is used to pay for the time I need to spend drawing and preparing for your appointment.

Please let me know 48 hours in advance if you choose to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you want to reschedule your appointment and let me know 48 hours before the time of your appointment, your deposit will still be valid. However, if you fail to let me know about rescheduling 48 hours before the appointment, a new $50 deposit will be required to schedule a new appointment that will NOT go towards the final price of your tattoo. If you cancel at any time after submitting your deposit, the deposit will not be returned as it is nonrefundable.

Pain is relative, but yes, tattoos can hurt! You may feel it more or less than others depending on your pain tolerance. Generally speaking, I would describe getting tattooed as similar to the feeling of getting scratched by a cat. Certain spots on your body may be more sensitive than others, so reach out to me and I can best advise you on which areas may be more tolerable. However, the one universal thing I can say to people who are being tattooed for the first time is it NEVER hurts as bad as you think!

I recommend reaching out to me directly before using any numbing cream. There are certain brands that heavily affect the process, such as making stencils completely disappear mid-tattoo! Most numbing creams that are made specifically for tattooing are usually fine, but be cautious if you have an allergy to lidocaine. A brand that I usually recommend is Mad Rabbit. They have a numbing cream that is specifically engineered for tattooing!

After I finish your tattoo you will be sent away with written directions on how to care for your tattoo. If the instructions get misplaced, don’t worry! You can view my aftercare instructions under the Aftercare section of my website.

Unfortunately, due to limited space, Nice Tattoo Parlor has a no guest policy. However, the Williamsburg area is full of coffee shops and places to shop around if your guest wants to explore the area while you get your tattoo :)
